Hi,

I hope you could help me.
I tried to use some workflow in Documentum 5.3. I have created one, I
have applied this workflow on a document, all passed well.
When the user tries to go in its INBOX to view the notification for
the task to do, i've got the following message :

Error
We're sorry, there was a problem with your request.
Work Queue Management is not properly installed. Please contact
your administrator.

Does anyone know how could i solve this pb ? What is the "Work Queue
Management" ?
I've tried to activate some jobs such as dm_QueueMgt but this does not
change anything.

Thanks a lot for your help

David

It seems that you are using BPM for designing workflows. Make sure you
have the BPM docapp properly installed in the repository.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

Now, I have installed BPM but it did not change anything.
Nevertheless, i have progressed.

By removing my user from the 3 roles queue_manager, queue_admin, and
queue_progressor, i have now access to my INBOX. I can view my tasks
BUT i have no rights on it. I have not the right to do "File->View"
for exemple on a task even if i see it in the list of the tasks in my
inbox.
If I put my user in the role queue_processor, i see the checkbox "Get
next tasks automatically", so i supposed i have some new others
features, BUT the message "Work Queue Management is not properly
installed" comes back and so i have nothing in my inbox and i can not
have access to anything.

So i resume :
- if i have not any, i can see my tasks in my inbox but i can not do
anything
- if i have the role queue_progressor, i can not have access to my
inbox and i get "Work Queue Management is not properly installed".

Does someone know a solution to have access to the inbox but have also
enough rights to view and progress a task ?

Thanks a lot

David
The reason I suspected BPM was your mention of work queues. BPM is not
required and clearly optional.
You can just use workflow manager.
Indeed, i have not installed BPM. I think that BPM needs an additional
licence. If it is mandatory, il will install it.
But if you want to use the workflows and get some notifications in
your INBOX, is BPM really mandatory ?
Can we use some workflows if the BPM is not installed ?
The only thing that i have found about problems accessing the INBOX is
BPM Forms: unable to access inbox (113036)
If the global registry repository does not have BPM-Forms docapp
installed in it, then the
user cannot access the Inbox of a repository even if it has BPM-Forms
docapp installed.
Install BPM-Forms docapp in the global registry repository.
